The Ecostore is a sustainable, cruelty-free and genetically modified free business based in New Zealand that creates products ranging from laundry essentials to baby care. Animals that are typically used for testing products include mice, rabbits, cats, dogs and frogs. As a result, I decided to create an anthropomorphic frog character to reinforce the brand’s attitude on being cruelty-free. The mascot I have illustrated has been designed specifically for the Ecostore’s baby product range, so a child-like design was implemented through large eyes, rosy cheeks and freckles.
